Kathleen Eberle, M.D.
Dr. Kathleen Eberle attended The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston Texas where she graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Physical Therapy. As a physical therapist at The Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, she gained extensive experience caring for patients with a wide variety of neurological conditions including those with back pain, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and stroke.
With five years of experience as a physical therapist, Dr. Eberle entered medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She remained with Baylor College of Medicine for her neurology residency where she served as chief resident. Dr. Eberle completed advanced training during her residency in electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies. Dr. Eberle is board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Neurology.
Dr. Eberle provides neurological consultation for patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders including peripheral neuropathy, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, migraine headaches, dementia, and entrapment neuropathies such as carpal tunnel syndrome. She also cares for patients with sleep disorders including obstructive sleep apnea and restless legs syndrome.
Robert Fayle, M.D.
Dr. Bob Fayle received his medical degree from The University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston and completed his neurology residency at UT Health Medical School in Houston. Before joining the Houston Neurological Institute, he was recruited by Memorial Medical Center in Livingston, Texas, as medical director of Memorial Multispecialty Associates, director of stroke services and medical director of the Livingston Sleep Disorders Center. Prior to his position in Livingston, he served for 20 years as director of the Sleep Disorders Center and a general neurologist at the Diagnostic Clinic in Houston, followed by several years of private practice. He was director of Park Plaza Hospital in Houston for seven years.
Board certified in adult neurology and sleep medicine, Dr. Fayle has held multiple leadership positions in the Harris County Medical Society, Texas Neurological Society and the Texas Medical Association. His research in the field of sleep and stroke, including CPAP compliance and adherence, treatment of insomnia and the role of sleep apnea in diabetic patients, has been published widely. Dr. Fayle provides neurological consultations and follow-up at HNI's Pasadena and Pearland locations.
Priti Palvadi, M.D.
Dr. Priti Palvadi attended Gandhi Medical College in Hyderabad, India. She then completed her neurology residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, Arkansas serving as Chief Resident in her final year. She then worked as Assistant Professor at the Little Rock VA hospital as a general neurologist for seven years. Following that she completed her Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at the University of Texas Medical School at Houston specializing in diagnostic sleep medicine, EMG, and EEG. She has been practicing in Baytown and has also trained in Sleep Medicine during this period.
Dr. Palvadi is board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Neurology and in Sleep Medicine. Dr. Palvadi provides neurological consultation for patients with a wide variety of neurological disorders including epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, multiple sclerosis, stroke, migraines, dementia, neuropathies and sleep disorders.
Myrtle Jeroudi, M.D.
Dr. Myrtle Jeroudi received her Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis and then her MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where she remained for her residency in general neurology. She then completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology at Baylor College of Medicine with a focus on electroencephalography (EEG), sleep medicine, and intra-operative monitoring (IOM).
She then completed a second fellowship dedicated to sleep medicine. During her training Dr. Jeroudi received the Outstanding Graduating Fellow award as well as awards for excellence and compassion in patient care. She has published in several areas of neurology with an emphasis on epilepsy.
She is board certified by the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Neurology and brings to HNI an interest in a wide variety of neurological problems with a special interest in sleep disorders, sleep-disordered breathing, restless leg syndrome, disorders of excessive sleepiness, and insomnia as well as epilepsy, neurodevelopmental disorders, headache, dementia, and multiple sclerosis.
Kenneth VanOwen, M.D.
Dr. Kenneth R. VanOwen received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas after graduating summa cum laude with his undergraduate degree in biochemistry from the University of Cincinnati. He completed his neurology residency and a neurophysiology fellowship at Indiana University.
Dr. VanOwen is a diplomat of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, a fellow of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine and member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. VanOwen has more than 10 years of patient care experience, complemented by an academic and research background.
Dr. VanOwen provides general neurology care and performs EMGs, EEGs, sleep study consultations and ‘Botox’ for neurological conditions such as migraine headaches and muscle spasm. He has appointments available at HNI's Pasadena and Pearland locations.
Kimberly Monday, M.D. - Owner
After graduating from the Plan II Honors Program at the University of Texas, Dr. Kimberly Monday completed her medical training, neurology residency and chief residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. Dr. Monday then received fellowship training in Clinical Neurophysiology at Emory University in Atlanta, specializing in intra-operative monitoring, diagnostic sleep medicine, EMG, and EEG. Dr. Monday holds board certifications from the American Academy of Psychiatry and Neurology in Adult Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Sleep Medicine.
Dr. Monday has been named a "Super Doc" by Texas Monthly Magazine and "Top Doctor" by both H magazine and The Consumer's guide to Top Doctors. She serves on the Board of the Texas Neurological Society, as a delegate to the Texas Medical Association, and is Chairman of the Clinical Ethics and Palliative Care Committee for Memorial Herman Physicians Network. In addition, she serves on the Medical Advisory Board for the Houston Area Parkinson's Society, and the Harris County Medical Society Board of Medical Legislation.
Currently, Dr. Monday is an associate professor in the Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth), serves as the vice-chair of clinical operations for the Department of Neurology.
Jessica Hanson, PA-C, MPAS
Jessica Hanson, PA-C , MPAS, attended the University of Houston-Clear Lake, where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences. She then earned her Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies at The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio.
Jessica has been with HNI since the beginning of January 2013, and has quickly developed her skills under the guidance of HNI's physicians. She sees new patient consults with a supervising physician, as well as regular follow-up patients. She can perform physical exams and special procedures, as well as order lab work or diagnostic imaging as necessary, and has prescriptive rights, as allowed under her supervising physicians. Jessica has great interest in Sleep Medicine, and enjoys participating in the care of the many HNI sleep patients.
